방글라데시 국가 (나의 금빛 방글라)

방글라데시 국가인 (나의 금빛 방글라)는 이 나라 음악의 여러 가지 전형적인 특색을 한눈에 살펴볼 수 있는 노래이지요.
('아마르 쇼나르 방라'라고 읽으시면 됩니다)는 아시아에서 최초로 노벨문학상을 받은 로빈드로나트 타쿠르(타고르)가 작사·작곡했습니다.
타고르는 우리나라에 시인으로만 알려져 있는데 사실은 시인이자 음악가였고 다른 수많은 분야에 걸쳐서도 업적을 남긴 만능 천재였습니다.
타고르가 벵골어로 글을 써서 방글라데시에서 민족의 영웅으로 추앙받고 있습니다.
타고르가 작사·작곡한 노래들은 지금도 방글라데시에서 '로빈드로숑기트'(로빈드로나트의 노래)라고 해서 널리 불리고 있습니다.
그런데 로빈드로숑기트를 위시한 방글라데시 노래들은 하나같이 방글라데시 전통 음계를 사용해서, 서양식 음계에 길들여진 우리가 듣기에는 약간 생소할 수도 있을 것입니다.
